• demonstrated experience working successfully with adolescents requiring social/emotional support
• knowledge of behavioural management techniques
• ability to supervise students in a work setting
• ability/means to transport students to work sites to/from school
• ability/skill in the use of simple wood-related equipment
• familiarity with aboriginal culture

This position is linked to a career experience program being piloted at McNaughton Centre.  The successful applicant will work under the direction of the teacher responsible for this career and community education program.
