The successful candidate will
hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good
standing in the BC College of Teachers AND possesses one or
more of the following:

Specialization: |
- Elementary Education with
major in music
|
| Related
Teaching Experience: |
- recent successful experience
as an Elementary Music Teacher
|
| A
Reasonable Expectation: |
based on a
teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall
classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to
perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with
other professional staff |
| Additional
Qualifications: |
- training/skill in the
Kodaly method of music instruction
- working knowledge of the
Orff approach
- strong singing skills
|
| Other: |
- the successful applicant
must have his/her own transportation for travel between
schools.
