Location:	Dragon Lake Elementary School
Effective Dates:	Effective Sep 1, 2004 to Jun 30, 2005

Basic Qualifications:

The successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC College of Teachers AND possesses one or more of the following:

Training Specialization:	Elementary Education with specialization at the primary level
Related Teaching Experience:	recent successful experience teaching at the primary level
A Reasonable Expectation:	based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff
Additional Qualifications:	not required for this posting
Other:	commitment to the School Growth Plan commitment to support the school's EBS plan commitment to Early Literacy Programs This is a job sharing position.  The successful applicant must share compatible educational philosophy and methodologies.  The principal will affirm that the teacher understands and agrees that the school's needs will be fully met (i.e. attendance at staff meetings and professional development activities, report card preparation, availability at teacher/parent interviews etc.)  The work schedule for this assignment will depend upon the needs of the school and will be confirmed by the school principal.
