Position:	Intermediate Teacher
Assignment:	Grades 5/6
FTE:	1.0 FTE temporary
Location:	Red Bluff Elementary School
Effective Dates:	Commencing Jul 1, 2004 and terminating Dec 31, 2004

Basic Qualifications:

The successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC College of Teachers AND possesses one or more of the following:

Training Specialization:	Elementary Education with specialization at intermediate level
Related Teaching Experience:	recent successful experience teaching at the intermediate level
A Reasonable Expectation:	based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff
Additional Qualifications:	not required for this posting
Other:	commitment to the School Growth Plan that focuses on social responsibility, numeracy and literacy willingness to be involved in staff development programs
