Position:	French Immersion Teacher
Assignment:	Grade 3
FTE:	1.0 FTE Temporary
Location:	École Baker Elementary
Effective Dates:	Commencing Jul 1, 2005 and terminating Jun 30, 2006

Basic Qualifications:

The successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC College of Teachers AND possesses one or more of the following:

Training Specialization:	Elementary Education with specialization in French Immersion - Primary level
Related Teaching Experience:	recent successful experience teaching at the Primary level in French Immersion
A Reasonable Expectation:	based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff
Additional Qualifications:	fluency in English/French - oral/written - applicant must be willing to take a language proficiency test - oral and written.
Other:	willingness to work in a dual track environment willingness to support the School Growth Plan
