District Principal of Aboriginal Education

The Quesnel School District is pleased to announce that Ms. Doreen L’Hirondelle has been appointed as District Principal of Aboriginal Education effective September 14, 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary and a Master of Education Degree through the University of Portland, Oregon.
Ms. L’Hirondelle most recently worked as the contracted Education Manager and Education Lead for the Little Shuswap Lake Band. She has also worked as a Principal at Chief Atahm School in Adams Lake, B.C., Tsuu/T’Ina Junior and Senior High School in Calgary Alberta and at the public school in Sturgeon Lake Alberta.
Ms. L’Hirondelle will be replacing Ms. JoAnne Moiese who has resigned from the district.
