Experience the Cariboo

Quesnel is located at the beautiful confluence of the Quesnel and Fraser Rivers, on the traditional territory of the Lhtako Dene Nation. It is just an hour drive from the larger centre of Prince George, and only a short flight to Vancouver direct from our airport. The city offers a population size of 23,000 with single detached homes averaging $200,000 in our area. Local residents have access to a full care hospital with 24-hour emergency coverage and the city’s recruitment efforts have secured a family doctor for all. Our four distinct seasons are filled with 2,025 hours of sunshine giving us pleasantly mild summers and moderately cold winters. The area boasts of outdoor activities including downhill and cross country skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking and amazing riverfront trails for walking and cycling. There are a wide range of organized sports that are supported through great facilities including an indoor soccer complex. A thriving Arts and Culture community supports the monthly Live Arts events, an active art gallery, a museum and many activities to help you embrace your creative side. Quesnel is a small community with big opportunity.
