Director of Instruction

The Quesnel School District is pleased to announce the following appointments effective January 1, 2026. 

Director of Instruction - Curriculum

Ms. Jan Bauer has been appointed tot he position of Director of Instruction - Curriculum. 

Ms. Bauer is the the Principal of Voyageur Elementary and prior to her time there served as Principal at Dragon lake Elementary and Parkland Elementary.

Ms. Bauer holds a Master's of Administration and Leadership Degree.

Ms. Bauer will be replacing Ms. Suzanne Bolin, who is retiring from the district.

Principal - Voyageur

Ms. Sonia Pannu-Baidwan has been appointed as Principal of Vyageur Elementary. Ms. Pannu-Baidwan has served as Vice Principal of Voyageur Elementary since August 2023.

Ms. Pannu-Baidwan holds a Master's of Education in Curriculum and instruction: Trauma and Resilience in an Education Setting.

Ms. Pannu-Baidwan will be replacing Ms. Jan Bauer.
